Fine Tuning Lever (FTL) is the patented innovation for mixed control of the steam nozzle. Consisting of a revamped control lever that offers improved regulation of the flow of stream, FTL includes, in a single mechanism, both the steam dispensing systems already found on La San Marco machines: by turning the knob or moving the lever up and down. The new device give the barista high-precision control over the flow of steam when preparing milk-based beverages. The highly precise flow regulation was made possible thanks to the use of a cammed device that has replaced simple regulation via screw-lead screw.
