La San Marco at TriestEspresso Expo 2026: innovation, technology and coffee culture
The new La 125 Element debuts and the Espresso Station takes shape: an integrated
ecosystem created with technology partners to enhance the work of the barista. A
programme of masterclasses, experiences and competitions completes the brand’s
presence at the event.
La San Marco, the historic Italian brand of professional espresso machines, part of SEB
Professional, will take centre stage at TriestEspresso Expo 2026, taking place from 21 to
23 October in Trieste, with a participation that focuses on product innovation, technology
partnerships and coffee culture.
There are two main novelties: the launch of La 125 Element, which expands the La 125
range, and the presentation of the Espresso Station, an integrated ecosystem that
concretely embodies the brand’s vision: putting technology at the service of professionals,
improving the quality of work, the consistency of results and operational efficiency.
La 125 Element
TriestEspresso Expo will be the stage for the official debut of La 125 Element, the new
model that completes the La 125 family, alongside the Classic and Multi Boiler versions.
Developed to meet the needs of a market increasingly attentive to the balance between
performance and investment, La 125 Element offers an essential configuration, focused on
the features truly needed for daily work.
Reliability, operational simplicity and extraction consistency characterise a solution designed
for roasters and professional operators seeking quality in the cup and a competitive
investment. A new proposal that broadens the choice within the range, while maintaining La
San Marco’s identity and quality standards.
Espresso Station
Alongside the product novelty, La San Marco will present the Espresso Station, a project
that goes beyond the concept of a single piece of equipment to offer an integrated vision of
the professional coffee shop.
At the centre of the ecosystem is La San Marco’s La 125 Multi Boiler, joined by the solutions
of three technology partners: BibeCoffee, with its telemetry system for data monitoring and
analysis; Perfect Moose, with its technology for automated milk preparation; and Puqpress,
with its electric tamping system that ensures precision and uniformity in coffee preparation.
The integration of these technologies shows how connectivity, automation and process
control can help improve the repeatability of results, reduce waste, simplify operations and
increase the profitability of the venue.
An approach in which technology does not replace the barista, but enhances their skills,
allowing them to focus more on service quality and on the consumer experience.
“With the new La 125 Element and the Espresso Station project, we want to showcase two
complementary dimensions of our vision: on one hand, the ability to develop professional
solutions ever closer to market needs; on the other, the desire to look beyond the single
machine, building an ecosystem in which different technologies and skills work together to
create value,” comments Stefano Martin, Global Account Manager Italy at SEB
Professional Beverage. “We believe in concrete innovation, capable of supporting
professionals’ daily work, ensuring consistent quality and contributing to the success of their
businesses. It is a vision that is also expressed through partnerships, training and support for
competitions: because La San Marco wants to be increasingly a meeting point for those who
live and shape espresso culture.”
A programme of events
La San Marco’s participation in TriestEspresso Expo will be enriched by a programme of
events dedicated to sharing expertise and celebrating professional coffee culture.
On 21 and 22 October, Carmen Clemente, Latte Art World Champion and La San
Marco Brand Ambassador, will lead masterclasses and demonstrations dedicated to Italian
cappuccino, Latte Art and the creative techniques of Choco Art and Cappuccino Painting.
On 23 October, Francesco Costanzo, La San Marco Brand Ambassador, and Andrej
Godina, Coffee Expert, will lead the Signature Espresso Experience, a sensory journey
through different extraction techniques, and the Espresso Tasting, an interactive experience
that will allow roasters and baristas to test their own blends and identify the parameters best
suited to bringing out their qualities. The programme will also include a demonstration
dedicated to BibeCoffee’s monitoring technologies.
The brand’s commitment will also extend beyond the booth, with its participation as
Technical Sponsor of the SCA Tappa Nord selections, supporting the talent and skills of the
professionals competing.
On 22 October, La San Marco will also be Technical Sponsor of the presentation of the
Guida del Caffè e delle Torrefazioni d’Italia 2027, also contributing with a Special Prize
dedicated to the roasting world.
Finally, on the occasion of Pink October, the booth will offer the chance to taste the Pink
Ruby Latte, a special drink created by SEB Professional, accompanied by a free-donation
initiative supporting the activities of LILT Trieste in cancer prevention and care.
From technological innovation to training, from partnerships to competitions, the presence at
TriestEspresso Expo confirms La San Marco’s commitment to promoting an espresso culture
that combines tradition, expertise and a vision for the future, alongside professionals and the
entire coffee supply chain.
Nel comunicato ho trovato un’incongruenza: il titolo parla di “caffè” mentre nel sottotitolo la
“Espresso Station” è scritta senza articolo come nome proprio. Ho mantenuto tutto come
nell’originale. Se vuoi, posso preparare una versione accorciata per il sito, tenendo la fedeltà
ma tagliando le parti più lunghe.
