Two years of research, two patents and revolutionary aesthetics: these are the distinctive features of the new La San Marco Coffee Grinder Collection presented at TriestEspresso Expo

<\/i>A products but a veritable collection designed to improve barista working conditions and meet the growing demand for reduced waste: at TriestEspresso Expo, the B2B fair entirely focused on coffee that will take place from 27 to 29 October at the Porto Vecchio in Trieste, La San Marco will present the new coffee grinders, designed by Studio Bonetto of Milan, modern and attractive, and by the ergonomic shape that recalls the D. machine, one of its latest products.

Several features make them unique. First, technology took two years to complete, given the two patents developed by La San Marco engineers. The first is related to the design of the ring made of technopolymers and metal nanoparticles with micrometric and continuous adjustment of the distance between the grindstones. This innovative ring allows total control and customisation of extraction, thus interpreting the wishes of the most demanding baristas and coffee experts in every corner of the world. The second patent has enabled the creation of the vibrating conveyor in the on-demand models, which allows for unprecedented dosing accuracy.\u00a0

Another important feature is the metal frame, combined with aesthetic body components that can be customised in colour and replaced at a later date, while retaining all the internal electronic and mechanical components, thus contributing to environmental sustainability.\u00a0
With the new collection, an essential tool in the bartender’s work becomes a furnishing element and an essential machine for increasingly improving the espresso’s yield in terms of “flavor”.

TriestEspresso Expo is also going to be a live show with La San Marco machines. On 27, 28 and 29 October, baristas from all over Italy and abroad will compete in the Leva Speed Contest and the Leva Sensory Contest. The latter will bring the lever machine into the Sensory world: with the La San Marco Leva Luxury Multiboiler, baristas will compete to make their espresso with the best sensory profile, which will then be assessed by a jury of coffee experts. The competitors will be given a blend at the time of the competition, which they will interpret in the best possible way, checking the ideal pressure profile via the display with which the Leva Luxury Multiboiler machine is equipped. A test that will also allow the public to dive into the world of precision coffee. Both contests are organised by the Associazione Maestri dell’Espresso Napoletano. In the control booth, in addition to contest patron Francesco Costanzo, there will also be coffee experts Andrej Godina and Mauro Illiano.\u00a0
