The historic Italian company confirms its commitment to celebrating espresso<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>excellence and professional skills.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Nei Pavleti\u010d is the winner of the Espresso Italiano Champion 2026 international final, held on<\/p>\n<p>6 November at Factory 1895 by Lavazza in Settimo Torinese.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><b>The final<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The competition, promoted by the Istituto Espresso Italiano (IEI), brought together some of<\/p>\n<p>the best international baristas, challenged to prepare the perfect Italian espresso and<\/p>\n<p>cappuccino. Supporting the event as Technology Partner, La San Marco provided<\/p>\n<p>competitors with its professional three-group La D. MultiBoiler machine.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s involvement made a key contribution to the running of the competition,<\/p>\n<p>where equipment precision, consistent performance and control of extraction parameters are<\/p>\n<p>essential to allow baristas to showcase their skills at their best.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The finalists were Takuya Yanagita, winner of the Japanese selection; Matteo Colzani, 2026<\/p>\n<p>Italian champion; Hiroto Suzuki, winner of the international selection organised by Lavazza;<\/p>\n<p>Kim Gyu Wan, winner of the Korean selection; and Nei Pavleti\u010d from Slovenia, who qualified<\/p>\n<p>through Essse Caff\u00e8\u2019s international selection.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Competitors had to demonstrate technical mastery, sensory sensitivity and the ability to<\/p>\n<p>manage every stage of preparation. The jury evaluated the drinks according to the quality<\/p>\n<p>criteria set by the Istituto Espresso Italiano, in a contest where even the smallest details<\/p>\n<p>helped decide the outcome.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><b>The La D. MultiBoiler in competition<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The La D. MultiBoiler supported every round, giving competitors technology designed to<\/p>\n<p>meet the demands of professional coffee service. Independent temperature management for<\/p>\n<p>each group, thermal stability and precise adjustments allow baristas to accurately control<\/p>\n<p>extraction conditions and adapt them to the characteristics of the coffee being used.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><b>A well-established partnership<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>La San Marco\u2019s presence at the international final confirms its long-standing collaboration<\/p>\n<p>with the Istituto Espresso Italiano. In 2024 the company supported the Milan final, while in<\/p>\n<p>2025 the competition took place directly at its exhibition space at Host Milano. In the 2026<\/p>\n<p>Italian selections too, La D. MultiBoiler technology accompanied Matteo Colzani\u2019s victory.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><b>Two days of competition and coffee culture<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s edition took place over two days. On 5 November the competitors took part in a<\/p>\n<p>programme dedicated to coffee culture, with visits to several Turin coffee shops and the<\/p>\n<p>Lavazza Museum, plus an equipment preparation session.
