The news is official: as of March 2022, La San Marco is a member of SCA, the international authority for professionals in the specialty coffee industry. Its mission is to inspire the Specialty coffee community through research, communication, and education, as evidenced by initiatives such as the Coffee Skills Program’s professional training courses and the World Barista Championship, Cup Taster, Coffee Roasting, and many other categories, created to decree the most skilled professionals in coffee extraction each year. “We are proud of this entry, with which we demonstrate once again that we accept the challenge of modernity. – says Roberto Nocera, CEO of the company. – San Marco celebrated 100 years since its founding in 2020, but it is a constantly evolving reality, always keeping up with the times thanks to a large investment in research and development.
