Roberto Nocera at the “Sala Capitolare”
On 7th February 2024, an important conference on environmental sustainability was held in the prestigious Sala Capitolare of the Senate of the Republic. The event, organised by the Farefuturo Foundation under the leadership of the Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso, was attended by Roberto Nocera, General Manager of La San Marco and President of UCIMAC.
During the conference, various aspects of environmental sustainability were discussed, such as the recycling of plastics from WEEE and refrigerant gases, emphasising the importance of waste traceability. The creation of an ESG report reflecting actual corporate sustainability was also discussed, highlighting the crucial role of transparency and corporate social responsibility.
In addition to Minister Urso, the event was attended by representatives from Ecoped, Ridomus and other Safe System consortia. Their participation emphasised the importance and urgency of these issues in today’s scenario.
“Participating in such an authoritative meeting was a privilege,” commented Roberto Nocera, who attended the conference. “The debate was extremely stimulating and inaugurated a productive collaboration for the development of new resources useful to consortia and their members. For La San Marco, the event was a further opportunity to reaffirm its ongoing commitment to the treatment and recycling of end-of-life professional and office equipment, a success achieved also thanks to the fundamental support of ECOPED.”
