On Friday, November 22, La San Marco proudly participated in an exceptional event celebrating coffee culture: the unveiling of the prestigious Camaleonte 2024-25 Guide to Italy’s Cafés and Roasters, accompanied by the awards ceremony for Italy’s best roasters.

Standing alongside those who passionately and diligently promote quality, tradition, and innovation in the coffee industry, La San Marco reaffirms its role as a key supporter of excellence in the sector.

Now in its third edition, the Guide is a unique initiative offering a comprehensive overview of thousands of products and celebrating the industry’s best. Created through the dedication of Andrej Godina, a coffee expert and PhD in Science, Technology, and Economics in the Coffee Industry, and Mauro Illiano, a lawyer and journalist, this edition results from a year of research, tastings, and sensory analysis.

This year, 14 roasters were honored with the prestigious Roastery Award, alongside specific recognitions for individual categories with the Product Awards.

The Camaleonte Guide is the first cultural project dedicated to reviewing Italy’s cafés and roasters, with a reach that extends to Europe. It is available in digital format via an app for iOS and Android devices. Starting December 1, 2024, it will also be available in print format at Italian bookstores and online through Hoepli, Centro Libri, Agenzia Libraria, and Edizioni Medicea Firenze.
