La San Marco named among the 100 Best Performers in the Alto Isontino region

Gradisca d’Isonzo, May 20, 2025 – La San Marco has been officially recognized as one of the 100 Best Performer companies in the Alto Isontino area for the 2021–2023 period, during the event held on May 19 at the Conference Center of the University of Trieste in Gorizia, organized by Nord Est Multimedia in collaboration with ItalyPost.

 

This prestigious recognition highlights companies that have distinguished themselves through strong financial performance, solid equity structure, and their ability to generate long-term value. A benchmark in professional espresso coffee machines, La San Marco achieved an average EBITDA of 13.1% over the three-year period, positioning itself among the most dynamic and profitable companies in the region.

 

During the ceremony, our General Manager Roberto Nocera took part in the “Continuing to Grow” panel, which focused on the future of local businesses. In his talk, he emphasized the need to rethink growth as a concept—shifting away from a purely quantitative model towards one rooted in innovation, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility.

 

“We live in a finite world with limited resources. We must aim for a type of growth that values durability, impact, and human connection,” said Nocera.

 

Part of the Groupe SEB since 2023, La San Marco is already putting this vision into practice through eco-friendly design, the use of recycled materials such as steel and aluminum, energy efficiency, and extending the product lifecycle. The company also invests heavily in training, academic partnerships, and promoting technical skills locally.

 

The goal is clear: to keep growing—but responsibly. Contributing to both local economic development and the sustainable transformation of the coffee supply chain is at the heart of La San Marco’s mission.

 

This award is both a recognition of the progress made in recent years and a motivation to keep moving forward. La San Marco will continue to strengthen its international presence, particularly in China and the United States, in line with its industrial strategy.
