La San Marco is the technical partner of the 2027 Guide to Italian Coffees and Roasters for professional espresso evaluations.

La San Marco machines were used during the official tasting sessions held in July, supporting the work of the panel tasked with evaluating the coffees selected for the new edition of the Guide.

The first session took place from July 6 to 10 at the La Piccola Boutique Academy, where the official panel of tasters began their work. The evaluations then continued on July 21 and 22 at Fiorenzato, with La San Marco confirmed as the official machine for all espresso extractions.

In the context of sensory analysis, the espresso machine plays an essential role in ensuring stable and repeatable extraction conditions, thereby allowing for the most accurate comparison possible between different coffees.

This collaboration with the Guide reaffirms La San Marco’s commitment to supporting industry professionals and projects dedicated to the quality and promotion of Italian espresso.
