A day of latte art by La San Marco.

Carmen Clemente, a masterclass, eight challengers and a milk pitcher in hand. La San Marco brought latte art into the spotlight with a full day at the Accademia del Gusto in Città Fiera: training in the morning and afternoon, followed by a competition in the evening.

Opening the program was Carmen Clemente, brand ambassador and latte art champion, who led a masterclass on milk types, pitcher selection, fill level, posture and milk frothing. Because behind every design there is a precise technique, and Carmen walked participants through it step by step, from basic free-pour patterns to more complex executions.

In the evening, the format became more competitive: the first La San Marco Latte Art Throwdown. Eight participants, two groups, direct elimination challenges and no room for imprecision. Frothing, symmetry, flow control and clean execution were all commented on by Carmen Clemente in her role as speaker and presenter. Judges Renata Zanon, Ivan Cussigh and Andrea Infanti let nothing slip by. The winner was Lorenza Di Stefano, from Cassino, in the province of Frosinone, who handled the competition with confidence and precision. Tamara Nadolph from Villach took second place, while Giuseppe Tursi from Udine finished third. The event was made possible thanks to GammaBar, Brita Group, DM Italia and OraSì.

This first edition confirmed how the value of the coffee world lies not only in the product itself, but above all in the people, in the sharing of skills and in the experiences that come to life around a cup. For La San Marco, supporting initiatives like this means actively contributing to the growth of coffee culture and its community.
