La San Marco with SCA at the 2025 Italian Barista Championship Finals

La San Marco played a key role in the finals of the 2025 Italian Barista Championships, organized by SCA Italy at Sigep in Rimini. The professional machines from the company based in Gradisca d’Isonzo supported the competitors in the “Coffee in Good Spirits” category, one of the seven disciplines in which coffee talents competed.

For the first time, La San Marco machines were featured in this prestigious competition promoted by the Specialty Coffee Association Italy, an organization dedicated to promoting sustainable and specialty coffee.

“The collaboration with SCA Italy underscores our commitment to innovation and quality,” said General Manager Roberto Nocera. “By combining the creativity of coffee-based cocktails with the excellence of our machines, we celebrate the meeting of technique and passion.”

The competition podium saw Andrea Villa claim victory for the third time (2020, 2024, and 2025), securing a spot in the World Championships in Geneva this June. Marco Poidomani (second place) and Luigi Cippone (third place) also stood on the podium.

“Our mission is to bring young people closer to the world of coffee, inspiring them to discover new taste experiences and rediscover the beauty of a timeless art,” Nocera added.

This collaboration marks a significant step forward in promoting the culture of Specialty Coffee, aligned with SCA standards, for the ethical and sustainable growth of the industry.
