Meeting with aMDC and Cultural Projects

On December 19, we had the pleasure of hosting the Museo del Caffè Trieste (aMDC) association at our headquarters for a day dedicated to discovering our production processes and presenting innovative cultural initiatives.

The visit offered a unique opportunity to showcase the production process of our coffee machines, highlighting the artisanal craftsmanship that distinguishes every La San Marco product. During the factory tour, participants explored our Learning Room, laboratory, and other spaces dedicated to research, innovation, and training.

The event was enriched by the presentation of the project “Coffee: A Story of Success in Regional and European Culture”, promoted by aMDC with the support of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. This project aims to enhance the excellence of the coffee supply chain, emphasizing its historical, economic, and cultural dimensions, with a special focus on opportunities for young people and innovations in the sector.

The project’s kick-off took on special significance, with Gradisca d’Isonzo chosen as a symbolic location in view of the upcoming Nova Gorica-Gorizia CEC 2025 events. Furthermore, the initiative aligns with the candidacy of Italian espresso coffee as UNESCO intangible cultural heritage.

The day concluded with a convivial aperitif, a moment of sharing and holiday wishes involving all participants, underscoring the value of human connections in building shared and innovative projects.
